Bio[]

Renald was bulit in 1929. He worked around Copley Hill, in Leeds from 1947 - 1953, and was shipped to America in 1954. Casey Jones found him working Upriver and bought him on the spot. He now works on the canal-side line, hauling goods trains. On occasions pulls the Starlite Express, usually when Danny is broken down. He works mostly with 1367.

Persona[]

He is kind and hard working engine, who is an old, but an important asset to the Dock Railway. He respects Puffa for being one of the BCDR's senior engines.

Basis[]

Renald is a GNR Class N2 0-6-2 with extended coal bunker.

Livery[]

He was orignally LNER Apple Green. During World War II, He was painted NE Wartime Black. He now is painted in unlined BCDR (Bigg City Dock Railway) Grey. Puffa wears the same livery.

Apperences[]

Renald usually cameos, but can be heard when the other engines are talking, usually with a strong North-Eastern accent.

Trivia[]

  • Renald's replacement at Copley Hill was his classmate known as The Unamed N2.
  • He works with Top Hat and is usually the only one who can put Top Hat in his place.
  • His number is an inside joke because the N2's BR numbers only went up to 69596.
  • Renald is one of the engines that has a face, like 1367. These two are good friends as well.
